Geeian “Ghie” Gambala, a dedicated Mental Health Advocate with The Project Eight Initiative, has emerged as a powerful voice in the field of mental health awareness. Her journey from a mentor to a passionate advocate reflects her deep commitment to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues and fostering a supportive environment where individuals can seek help and thrive.

The Project Eight Initiative is proud to announce the participation of Geeian “Ghie” Gambala, a dedicated mental health advocate, in the event titled “Fighting for Mental Health.” This significant gathering took place last Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Ramon Ang Auditorium, Henry Sy Sr. Building, University of the Philippines College of Medicine.

The Project Eight Initiative team made a prominent showing at the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) Expo 2024, which took place on July 4, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. This year’s exhibition, entitled “Reimagining A New and Inclusive Future,” presented a wonderful opportunity for groups focused on social responsibility and sustainable development to network and collaborate.

The 14th Philippine SME Business Expo 2024 was a hub of entrepreneurial energy and innovation, bringing together industry leaders, program leads, and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore new opportunities and foster collaboration.

Students of General Pio National High School were treated to a special meet and greet visit by Edwin “Daddy Ed” Coquilla, an advocate for Alternative Learning System (ALS), and Vhincel Donn “Vhince” Polinag, a youth leadership and empowerment enthusiast, on May 8, 2024. Hosted by Miss Tammy Magay and Mr. Joy Cabonce from the ALS Department, the event welcomed the Project Eight Initiative team with warmth and enthusiasm.

The Project Eight Initiative showcased its unwavering commitment to community service as it actively participated in the repacking of school bags and supplies for the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan (UHSK) Project.
